Arrival in Manali (2,050 m / 6,726 ft)
Arrive in Manali and transfer to the campsite in Solang Valley. After settling in, participate in an acclimatization walk to Jogini Waterfall. In the evening, attend a briefing session covering trek orientation, safety protocols, and equipment checks.

Drive to Dhundi (2,850 m / 9,350 ft) & Trek to Bakarthach (3,300 m / 10,800 ft)
Drive: Manali to Dhundi – 21 km, approximately 1.5 hours Trek: Dhundi to Bakarthach – 5 km, 3-4 hours
Begin with a scenic drive from Manali to Dhundi, passing through Solang Nalla. The trek starts from Dhundi, leading through alpine meadows and offering views of peaks like Indrasan and Deo Tibba. Arrive at Bakarthach, a high-altitude meadow serving as the campsite. Spend the night in tents.

Trek from Bakarthach to Lady Leg (3,900 m / 12,800 ft)
Trek: 3 km, 4-5 hours
The trail ascends through boulder-strewn paths and patches of snow, leading to the Lady Leg campsite—named after a distinctive rock formation resembling a lady's leg. This site offers striking views of the surrounding peaks. After setting up camp, undertake an acclimatization walk to prepare for higher altitudes. Overnight stay in tents.

Acclimatization and Load Ferry to Summit Camp (4,750 m / 15,500 ft)
Engage in load ferrying essential equipment to the Summit Camp to aid acclimatization and reduce load for the summit push. The trek involves navigating steep and slippery slopes with increasing snow density. After depositing equipment, return to Lady Leg campsite for overnight stay.

Move to Summit Camp (4,750 m / 15,500 ft)
Trek: 2 km, 2-3 hours
Ascend to the Summit Camp, carrying necessary gear for the final ascent. The route becomes more challenging with rugged terrains and thicker snow. Upon reaching the campsite, spend time resting and undergoing technical training on climbing techniques, use of equipment, and safety measures. Retire early to prepare for the summit attempt.

Summit Attempt of Friendship Peak (5,289 m / 17,353 ft) & Return to Lady Leg
Trek: Summit ascent – approximately 5 km one way, 8-9 hours; descent to Lady Leg – 2 km, 1.5 hours
Commence the summit attempt in the early hours, navigating glaciated paths and steep inclines. Reaching the summit offers a 360-degree panorama of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. After savoring the accomplishment and capturing memories, descend carefully to the Summit Camp, pack up, and continue down to Lady Leg campsite for overnight stay.

Descend to Dhundi & Drive Back to Manali
Trek: Lady Leg to Dhundi – 7 km, 4 hours Drive: Dhundi to Manali – 21 km, approximately 1.5 hours
The final day involves retracing steps through alpine meadows and forests to Dhundi. From there, a vehicle will transport the team back to Manali, marking the conclusion of the expedition. Participants can choose to explore Manali or commence their onward journey. Note: A reserve day is included in the itinerary to accommodate unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather or the need for additional acclimatization. Participants are advised to maintain flexibility in their schedules.
