Arrival at Dharamkot Basecamp + Local Trek
Reach McLeodGanj by morning and check-in to the HimTrek basecamp at Dharamkot. After a welcome breakfast, head out for a short acclimatization hike to Bhagsu Waterfall (~2 km, ~2 hrs). En route, explore Bhagsunath Temple, McLeodGanj Mall Road, and St. John in the Wilderness Church. Return to base by evening. Unwind around a bonfire, enjoy hot dinner, and soak in the calm mountain atmosphere.

Dharamkot to Triund Top
Begin early with breakfast, then start the 9 km trek to Triund (~5–6 hrs). The trail gradually ascends through forests of oak and deodar, with frequent views of the Dhauladhar range. Make a pit stop at Magic View Café or Snowline Café for refreshments. Reach Triund Top by afternoon. Set up camp and take in the breathtaking views of snow-clad peaks and rolling valleys. Enjoy your evening meal under a canopy of stars, nestled deep in the mountains.

Triund to Dharamkot + Departure
Wake up early to witness one of the most magical sunrises in the Himalayas. Post breakfast, begin the descent back to Dharamkot (~4–5 hrs). Reach basecamp, freshen up, and depart by afternoon with a backpack full of memories.

→ By Air: Nearest airport is Gaggal Airport, Dharamshala (~18 km from Dharamkot).
→ By Train: Nearest railway station is Pathankot (~90 km). Taxis and buses available from Pathankot to Dharamshala.
→ By Bus: Direct buses from Delhi/Chandigarh to Dharamshala or McLeodGanj. From there, local taxis take you to Dharamkot (10-15 mins).
