Day : 1
Arrive at McLeod Ganj Base Camp
Arrive at our Dharamkot campsite in McLeod Ganj. Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude. Attend a detailed trek briefing session with your trek leader. Enjoy a hot dinner and prepare for the adventure ahead.

McLeod Ganj to Triund Top (9 km | 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast, begin your journey through dense oak, deodar, and rhododendron forests. The steady ascent offers scenic views of the Kangra Valley and the Dhauladhar range. Reach Triund Top by afternoon, where you set up camp and relax while watching the sun dip behind the mountains.

Triund to Lahesh Cave (6 km | 4-5 hrs)
Today’s trail takes you through rocky ridges and alpine pastures. Cross Snowline Cafe en route and ascend steep sections to reach Lahesh Cave, a natural rock shelter at 3,500 m. Camp here and rest under the stars, surrounded by dramatic high-altitude landscapes.

Summit Day - Lahesh Cave to Moon Peak and descend to Ilaqa Got (12 km | 10 hrs)
Rise early for the summit push. The trail involves challenging climbs over moraines, narrow ridgelines, and rocky outcrops. Upon reaching the 15,125 ft Moon Peak summit, soak in the breathtaking 360-degree views of Manimahesh Kailash, Hanuman Tibba, and the vast Kangra plains. After spending time at the summit, descend carefully to Ilaqa Got for overnight camping.

Ilaqa Got to McLeod Ganj (9 km | 5-6 hrs)
Enjoy the morning views before trekking back to McLeod Ganj. The descent is relatively easier and takes you back through familiar forest trails. Reach Dharamkot by afternoon, bid goodbye to your fellow trekkers and depart with memories to last a lifetime.
