We begin with a short, scenic drive to Solang — a hub for adventure sports and our trailhead. From there, we head into a dense forest of oaks and deodars, gradually gaining altitude. The trail is quiet and shaded, perfect for warming up. We reach Shagadugh, a beautiful meadow surrounded by forests and peaks, where we camp for the night under an open sky.

Day : 2
Shagadugh to Patalsu Peak (13,845 ft) & Back to Shagadugh
Trek: 7–8 hours, ~10 km (round trip)
This is the summit day, and it’s a full one. We start early, trekking through alpine shrublands and steep slopes that open up to vast mountain views. As we ascend the final ridge to Patalsu Peak, the landscape turns dramatic — all sky, snow, and stone. From the top, it’s pure magic: 360° views of the entire Kullu valley and snow-capped ranges in every direction. After soaking it all in, we descend back to Shagadugh for a well-earned rest.
Day : 2
Day : 3
Trek Back to Solang Valley & Drive to Manali
Trek: 2 hours, ~4 km | Drive: 1 hour
After breakfast, we retrace our steps through the peaceful forest trail back to Solang. From there, a short drive brings us back to Manali. The trip may be short, but the views — and the sense of standing above the clouds — will stay with you for a long time.
